Xeoma Beta 26.3.18

View all changes | Download update | Subscribe for notifications

Xeoma Beta 26.3.18 is out – and licence plate recognition has just received a major upgrade! Meet two new recognition methods in the ANPR module:
First, the new ‘Vision’ option covers 23 countries across the UK, EU, and CIS, featuring advanced licence plate location and recognition. This option requires the ‘ANPR (Vision)’ licence, priced at $910 per camera. Licences must be purchased per camera for each server individually, regardless of the number of countries selected.

Second, a new ‘Improved version’ option is now available in the Additional package for advanced recognition. It features enhanced algorithms and higher recognition accuracy for licence plates from the USA, Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, and China. Crucially, this option requires no manual country selection; it automatically detects the country of origin for any plate in view. This is powered by the existing Additional ‘ANPR’ licence at $600 per camera – a cost-effective alternative to third-party LPR tools that maintains comparable quality.

Consequently, Xeoma’s licence plate recognition now supports 168 countries.
