Q: The Archive folders seemed to be named according to GMT dates (rather than local date).

A: Yes, that is the default behavior that adds a bit more stability to the archiving system (guarantees tat the archive stays intact even if the server’s time zone changes for whatever reason). Archive files and folders are not meant to be handled by hand, they are for Xeoma’s internal use; when viewing the archive via Xeoma it will adjust everything based on your time zone.
However, if you need to apply the server’s time zone to files and folders as well, you can still do that using the “-uselocaltime” command. See details on that and other available commands here
