How to change recordings storage path for several cameras in bulk

Q: I can see by default the installation is storing all archives in /usr/local/Xeoma/XeomaArchive/
Can I provide a variable through xeoma.app that would change that default storage place to a place of my choosing?

A: Yes, you can change archive path if you install Xeoma to another location. But if you already installed it once, then you need to install everything from scratch, i.e. uninstall Xeoma completely (-install -removeall) and then install Xeoma and specify necessary path (-install -coreauto -installdir “/home/user22/Xeoma”). This way archive will be stored according to the newly specified installation path in “XeomaArchive” folder.

You can also change archive path via Xeoma Client, there’s “Group settings” available at the module’s settings top part where you can specify path/configuration for necessary cameras.
