Detecting camera switching to the low-loght IR mode
Q: Is it somehow possible to detect when the camera switches to IR mode because of low light? This would be super helpful to adapt some settings and react in home automation.
A: There’s a hard-wired option in the “Motion detector” module that helps avoid false alarms whenever a camera switches to the IR-mode.
You can also try using “Problems detector” module and its “Camera defocusing” option. This option gets triggered when cameras go to IR-mode.
