Can I use android to access server in windows Free edition
Q: I have a mini windows computer with free version. Can i use android to access server in windows version.
A: The Free version doesn’t allow any remote connection (and by ‘remote’ we mean any connection from another device or computer), so it won’t work for connection from either Android or any desktop Xeoma other than on the same computer.
Quote Xeoma User Manual:
“The Free edition lets you view unlimited number of video sources (cameras) and up to three modules in each scheme. Maximum 4 Preview and Archive modules (store archive for 5 days before overwriting), maximum 4 Sending Email modules are available. Please pay attention: remote connection in Free edition is not available. “

If you want to connect from Android to Xeoma server or another device, you need remote access, you’d need one of the paid editions:
Xeoma Starter, Xeoma Lite, Xeoma Standard or Xeoma Pro. They are purchased for the number of cameras you have on your server.
