Q: I would like to have more information about the CCTV centralization offered by your system
A: Thank you for your interest in Xeoma. Xeoma is an advanced video surveillance software that offers excellent centralization capabilities for CCTV systems. Our client-server architecture allows for centralized management of multiple cameras and servers from a single intuitive interface. You can connect an unlimited number of cameras (up to 3,000 per server, depending on the license and hardware), distribute them in tabs or interactive maps (eMap) for convenient viewing, and set up multi-server configurations for large networks with automatic failover for greater reliability.
Additionally, it supports remote access, facilitating centralized monitoring from any location. It includes features like client-side decoding to reduce server load, and scalability for systems from small to enterprise-level.
Q: if we have an old license for version 23.8.10 and have been using it for two years without updating it, and then the customer cancels the service,
can we remove that license and install it on version 25.8.22? Can we do this, or will we need to upgrade the license?
And how do we pay for the upgrade if we already have a license for the old version?
Or do we need to purchase a new license to use version 25.8.22 or higher in the future?
A: If your original license’s update period has expired – no, you will not be able to use it with verison 25.8.22 without purchasing a renewal. Once you purchase a renewal, you will receive an e-mail with the license serial number. When you activate this serial number on the same machine where your original license is currently activated – it will apply to your original license and extend its update period.
