New Xeoma 26.2.3: What’s new?
February 10, 2026
In our latest release, Xeoma 26.2.3, we are introducing significant performance improvements and expanding professional-grade features to our broader user base. This update focuses on three key pillars: computational efficiency, smarter AI-driven recognition, and a more intuitive user experience.
1. Professional Performance for Everyone
We believe high-end efficiency shouldn’t be limited to enterprise-only tiers. With version 26.2.3, WebRTC technology is now available in Xeoma Standard as well as Xeoma Pro.
By offloading server-side computations to the browser during live viewing, you can significantly reduce server load and enjoy a smoother, more responsive monitoring experience.
2. Evolution of Vision
Our flagship “Vision” algorithm for face recognition has undergone a major architecture update to provide more flexibility and stability:
- Adaptive Hardware Support: The system now automatically toggles between CPU and GPU processing, ensuring peak performance regardless of your hardware configuration.
- Streamlined Data Management: We have resolved issues regarding disk space, ensuring that data for deleted faces is promptly removed and preventing the redundant recreation of data files during automated learning.
- Instant Start: We have eliminated the initialization delays previously experienced during the first-time activation of the algorithm, making your face recognition ready for deployment without the wait.
3. Precision Connectivity & Streaming
Modern surveillance demands high-quality streaming and effortless network discovery. Here’s what Xeoma 26.2.3 adds to that:
- H.264 RTSP Broadcasting: We’ve added support for H.264 compression via the live555 method, allowing for high-definition streaming with lower bandwidth requirements.
- Smart Network Scanning: The updated “Search by IP/Password” dialog now scans all available subnets by default, making camera integration faster than ever.
- Dynamic Server Discovery: The Connection Dialog now automatically expands its list as new servers are detected on your network, providing a live view of your entire infrastructure.
4. Refined User Experience
In Xeoma 26.2.3, we’ve polished the interface and core stability to ensure a premium feel across the platform:
- Navigation Enhancements: For improved convenience, all dialog boxes now feature a standard “Close” (X) button in the top-right corner.
- System Reliability: Key fixes include resolved camera freezes during digital zoom, improved mobile alerts for power outages, crash-proof usage of the “Eye Tracking” module, and stabilized subtitle exports for large archives.
- Diagnostic Upgrades: The Problem Detector module has been been made more crash-resistant as well as optimized for speed, providing instant access to disk status information without the initial loading delay.
- Reliable Event Logging: We’ve eliminated freezes in the Event Log when processing high-volume file sets.
