Xeoma Cloud questions: connection, work with cameras, subscriptions

Q: I’m having issues logging in to my Xeoma Cloud account.

A: First of all, make sure that your subscription is valid. Find automatic letters about Xeoma Cloud in your mailbox – they always have information about the expiration date of your account.
If the account is till valid, please use the access credentials in the letter to log in. See instructions in the letter or here: https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/cloud/#cloud_connection

Q: If I install the Xeoma module on my local computer it discovers the camera on my local network 192.168.1.39 right away. If I use the xeoma cloud module it can not find any cameras in my local network.

A: To connect the camera to Xeoma Cloud, it must have an external static IP address. Please read more about connecting the camera to Xeoma Cloud here – https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/cloud/cloud-camera-connection/

Q: I want to subscribe to your affiliate system and create an online platform for security video recording in the cloud, also live viewing. Can I do that with Xeoma?

A: You’ve come to the right place. We have exactly what you need.

You can build your own cloud service using Xeoma Pro Cloud (see how it works – https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/description/#pro ). You decide on the terms of offering it to your customers – whether it will be a “per month”, “per year” or “lifetime” subscription and how much it will cost, total disk space assigned to each camera, and so on. A special script will make integration with your billing system smooth and seamless.

Or use Xeoma Cloud Service – https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/cloud/ . It means that we have Xeoma running on our cloud server and you can connect your cameras there and use customized app (your company name, logo and etc.) to manage them.

Q: I got the nvr stream working with VLC but not working with your Xeoma Cloud. There is microscopic message on the bottom screen video limitation etc. and of course the big one no connection. What is it and what should I do?

A: We strive to make all Xeoma warnings and errors informative. This is one of the cases where the message contains the reason and resolution to the issue.
Looks like your Preview URL is too big. Please remember the recommendation for H264/H265 preview URL:
– Preview stream with 320×240 256kbit or less.
Please check if that is the case, and in case of necessity please set lower parameters for the stream you use in Xeoma for live view.

Please feel free to contact us if you need assistance regarding Xeoma!
