Responses to user support requests. Weekly overview. Part 13.
Q: I would like to know how I can store recorded images directly in Google Drive. I saw in the user manual that this is possible. What is the step-by-step process to configure it?
A: You are likely referring to the part of the manual that mentions Google Cloud rather than Google Drive. If you have access to to a virtual server (whether it’s in Google Cloud or in AWS), you can install Xeoma on that virtual server directly – this way it will store all archives/screenshots on that server. If you need a way connect your local cameras to that virtual server, you can use this method https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/articles/http-upload-to-other-xeoma/
At the moment there is no way to indicate Google Drive on your local server as a place for storage. However, you can sync a directory on your local server with Google Drive, if you wish. More on this here: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/10838124?hl=en
