Update Xeoma without new licenses

Q: I am presently running xeoma 19.4.22 Standard version with x4 cameras. Is it possible to upgrade to a later version of xeoma without needing a new or extra licence.

A: It depends on whether your license’s or licenses’ free update period expired or not. You can get reminder about your licenses to the email they are registered to. You can also see Xeoma’s Main menu -> Information -> Active licenses dialog for more on your licenses.

Usually, Xeoma Standard and Xeoma Pro licenses come with 1 year of software updates, but they are also options with 3 and 10 years possible, so there’s no guessing right without knowing the licenses used. If you’re using Xeoma Starter* or Xeoma Lite, the purchase date should be checked too.

For Xeoma Standard or Xeoma Pro: If your license’s or licenses’ free update period has run out, then you’d need a Renewal to be able to get new Xeoma versions. See what Renewals can and cannot do, here.

For Xeoma Starter* or Xeoma Lite: If your license’s or licenses’ free update period has run out, then you’d need a totally new license to be able to get new Xeoma versions.
