Detector of Abandoned Objects for car stop and leave
Q: I want to get an alert when my car arrives to garage (delayed by 5 minutes) and an alert when it leaves. Can I do that with Detector of Abandoned Objects?
A: Yes. When used alone, Detector of Abandoned Objects starts skipping the signal (after set delay) when finding the car, and stops only when the car leaves the selected area.
FYI: The Object Detector module will work in the same way, but without delay.
Anyway, to receive only one notification on the triggering of the Detector of Abandoned Objects module, please add the Relay Switch module to the chain after it.
In the Relay Switch settings, select Mode of operation “On just once, during the time selected below:”. Set the minimum time to receive the alert only once.
It should do the trick.
