Responses to user support requests. Weekly overview. Part 5.
Q: Is it possible to draw multiple recognition areas (red rectangles) in the motion Detector (in the Standard motion detector AND as well in the “Human only” detector?
A: Yes, for sure, you can create several detection zones in the “Motion Detector” module.
Using a brush in the module settings, you can create areas of detection of any shape and size. Use red color to define the area where motion is to be monitored. Leave transparent spots where motion must be ignored. In the same camera you can draw several areas.
If you want the “Motion Detector” to react to different areas differently, then use several “Motion Detectors” to draw different areas and set different parameters in those modules.
Q: HI , i want to know your cloud services , can function of People Counting / People Tracking / Gender Recognition? with high Accuracy
A: Hi, in our Cloud service called Xeoma Cloud we can enable everything available in Xeoma. So since Visitors Counter, Gender Recognition, Face Recognition and other tools are available in Xeoma, we can switch them on for a Cloud subscription too. The price is tricky.
For tools that are in Xeoma Pro (like Abandoned Objects Detector, or Cross-Line Detector) you’ll need
1) a base Xeoma Cloud subscription + 2) $20 per each module * amount of megapixels in your camera that will be using this module.
Example, you have a 2 MP camera and would like to use a Cross-Line Detector for it. You’ll need a base Xeoma Cloud subscription + 2 * $20 * 1 (2 mp * $20 * 1 such module)
For tools that are Additional modules, you’ll need
1) a base Xeoma Cloud subscription + 2) $20 per each module * amount of megapixels in your camera that will be using this module, + 3) rent of the Additional module.
Example: you have a 2 MP camera and would like to use an Age Recognizer (Additional module) for it. You’ll need a base Xeoma Cloud subscription + 2 * $20 * 1 + $35
(2 mp * $20 * 1 such module + $35 rent of the Additional module price)
The more resolution your camera has, the bigger the price, but also better quality (for modules where hi res is better for video analytics)
