No “Activate” option in the main menu
When you enter the main menu of Xeoma and see that the “Activate” option is absent (while the others are not), it can be caused by one of the following:
- You are connecting from the client, and the server side of Xeoma is not running. This issue should be resolved on your server side: check if the server is running, the connection is stable and unblocked, and the starting connection dialog confirms the connection is made successfully;
- You are connected to Xeoma Cloud.
When connected to Xeoma Cloud, activating your licenses is not required. Simply enter the address of the cloud service and your connection data in the connection dialog you see at the start. If there is a possibility you have connected to Xeoma Cloud by mistake, you can easily check this by going to Task Manager – Xeoma Cloud will be listed there. Stopping the Cloud in Task Manager should be enough, but in cases when Xeoma Cloud config files still prevent it from running as you want it to, quick reinstallation of the software will help.
