“My license doesn’t exist” activation error
Q: (User case) When I try to activate my licenses after re-installation it says my license does not exit.
A: In this user case, the user’s original license was for Xeoma Standard for 2 cameras with 1 year of free updates purchased mid 2021, and then they got an Upgrade to Xeoma Pro for 1 of these cameras. From that moment on one can say that they had Xeoma Standard for 1 camera and Xeoma Pro for 1 camera, and in that user case they could get new versions of Xeoma up until June, 2022.
To use a newer version of Xeoma after re-installation they actually needed a Renewal for their ‘current’ licenses – for 1 camera Xeoma Standard and for 1 camera Xeoma Pro.
The user purchased a Xeoma Pro Renewal for 2 cameras for 1 year instead, which although is a level-up from Xeoma Standard, however, it doesn’t work for the Standard license.
