I’d be feeding Xeoma snapshots rather than video. Will Xeoma handle this?

Q: Would send snapshots rather than video. I have not yet researched (and tested) whether Xeoma will even handle this.

A: In general, yes, Xeoma can work with cameras that provide only individual frames over a fairly long period (e.g. one snapshot per hour). That goes for simple getting the images and storing them to the archive.
However, if some video analytics required, it is important which.
For instance, Cross-Line Detector wouldn’t work in such conditions, while Object Recognizer can still work ok.
