I installed version 18.x.x. via the command line but get can’t start core error

Q: I installed vers 18.x.x. via the command line but get this:

***@server:/var/xeoma$ ./xeoma.app -core
Xeoma server has been started in foreground.
Core: Can’t start Core.
Xeoma server has been stopped

A: If you installed Xeoma, your Xeoma server part is already running all the time. The -core command then tries to launch one more server part and cannot because one is already running and there can’t be several on the same machine.

Please take a look in top or htop to make sure that Xeoma server part is already running.
