How can motion detection be activated/deactivated, for example through Home Assistant

Q: I’m trying to figure out of motion detection can be activated/deactivated, for example through Home Assistant. Can you help me out?

A: You can use various Xeoma modules for integration with 3rd party devices and apps. More information here
If you’d like to turn on/off according to a schedule (automatically), then you can use “Scheduler” module in Xeoma as well.

You can send an HTTP request from your HomeAssistant app to de-active the motion detection module with the HTTP Switcher module.
It can receive HTTP commands from external devices and switch on/off all following modules. Add this module to your modules chain before the Motion detector, so that to switch the Motion detection on/off upon receiving an HTTP request.
