Operating system of the Client differs from the server OS

Q: I’ve got my server setup for Xeoma on kubuntu. I wanted to now connect with a different PC running windows. Is this possible?

A: Sure, the client-server architecture was designed specifically for that – connection from one PC to another. It doesn’t matter that the OSes differ.
