Different camera preview settings for a smaller device

Q: My cameras are all 2MP with 4Kbps bitrate. That works fine on the desktop and great for archives. I have a client on a tablet and cell phone, which don’t need such a high bandwidth. Is it possible to set the preview bandwidth on those clients differently?

A: Yes, you can do that by choosing a different URL from the Preview stream parameters box in the Universal camera setting – this way the preview will have a lower resolution while the archive will still retain the highest resolution.
