Camera/Archive Time Off by One Hour

Q: The time issue seems to be mostly fixed on my end. The correct time now displays on the cameras in both live preview and in archive, but the archive time itself is still forward by an hour.

For instance looking at the footage for today at 10:00, the camera time displays 10:00, but in order to see the footage you need to navigate to 11:00 in the archive time.

Current things I’ve tried in order to fix the problem but nothing has worked:

Ensured the system time is set correctly (it is synced with my local NTP server)
Ensured the time zone (America/St_Johns) was correctly chosen for each user
Reindexed the archive (did this on all cameras)
Disabled the Preview and Archive Module for a period of two hours (no recordings) before re-enabling hoping that it would “catch up” to the current time

A: Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to know that you have found a solution to the timezone issue!

Now, regarding time being off by an hour in Xeoma’s Archive viewer, I can see that you have done almost everything we suggest in such cases. There is just one more thing: please make sure that Client’s time zone is set up to be the same as well. The Client’s timezone does also factor in when it comes to time discrepancies. So could you please also check if the timezone on your Client device is the same?

If setting it up did not help (or if it was already set up), could you please send us your Xeoma server’s settings file:
/home/USERNAME/.config/Xeoma/settings.dat (if Xeoma is not installed)
or
/usr/local/Xeoma/settings.dat (installed)
in order for us to troubleshoot?
