Archive decoding warning for same-day recordings
Q: I am running 22.10.12 server and client. I have a Standard license.
I have however run into an issue with archive playback with 1 of my 4 cameras. Whenever I try to click on a blue tick mark in the archive viewer timeline I get a “Decoding is in progress please wait” . It seems to be a problem looking back within the same day because I am able to playback a week ago just fine.
A: Please try the newest version of Xeoma if possible.
In it, please try the following:
1) stop Xeoma: sudo path_to_xeoma.app -stopservice
2) access Xeoma’s main directory, XeomaArchive folder
3) delete the Database folder from here
4) run Xeoma again: sudo path_to_xeoma.app -startservice
