Xeoma Cloud Video Surveillance System
XEOMA operates as CCTV Cloud Storage as a service. This means that Xeoma runs on our cloud server, and you can connect your cameras to it.
WHY CHOOSE IT?
The server handles all the load, maintenance, and updates, while you can connect to it at any time to view your cameras, their archives, download records, and use all the usual Xeoma features in the cloud.
You don’t need to buy or maintain expensive video surveillance equipment. All you need is a camera and an internet connection.
Xeoma Cloud video surveillance can also be used in addition to computer-based Xeoma that runs on your computer to send video to the cloud. You can view this live and archived video over the Internet with Xeoma Client or in a web browser.

*Storage time is unlimited, depending on camera specifications and the storage space included in your subscription.
The average storage time in the table is an approximate calculation of how long video footage can be stored in the Cloud before overwriting begins, based on an H264 camera with 1 Mpix resolution (1080 x 720 px), 25 fps refresh rate, and 1 Mbps bitrate.
You can calculate your average storage time in the Cloud calculator here, or contact us.
Overwriting will replace your oldest entries with the newest.
XEOMA CLOUD VS OTHER CLOUD SERVICES
If you believe you have a cost-effective and user-friendly cloud service, you haven’t tried Xeoma yet. Other cloud services lure you into seemingly affordable subscriptions by adding hidden costs for almost every feature you want to add or disable (such as watermarks). They also impose strict limitations on the cameras you can connect, while Xeoma Cloud allows you to use cameras of any resolution and refresh rate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This solution works well for cameras in single or multiple locations, such as shops, car parks, schools, and more.
- Get started quickly – connect in 3 steps
- No need to set up your own IT infrastructure
- When the purchased storage limit is reached, loop recording overwrites older videos with new ones
- You can use all modules from the standard Xeoma version – detectors, SMS or email notifications, FTP upload, and more
-
The following are not available:
a) Modules that cannot function in the cloud (Screen Capture, local USB cameras, local microphone, File Reading, Save to File, Application Runner, Sound Alarm, etc.) and
b) “Resource-intensive” modules such as ANPR, Face Detector, Object Detector, Privacy Masking, Image Rotate, Image Resize, Smoke Detector, RTSP Broadcasting, and Fisheye Dewarping. However, these “resource-intensive” modules can be purchased separately and added to your subscription for $20/month per instance of each chosen module, per camera megapixel - Camera requirements: JPEG, MJPEG, H264, H265, or MPEG-4 stream with a static public IP address accessible from the internet (or, if the address is dynamic, use any free DDNS service). Remember to forward the camera’s ports on your router: 80 (for JPEG, MJPEG) or 554 (for H264, H265, MPEG-4) (see this resource: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm).
If your cameras do not have a static IP address or a substitute, see this page for alternative options. - Preview stream: maximum resolution 352×288, maximum bitrate 150 Kbps (for h264/h265/mpeg-4). No limitations for MJPEG/JPEG.
We recommend using JPEG/MJPEG for the preview and direct saving to the archive - Network requirements depend on camera resolution, frame rate, or bitrate. Use our system requirements calculator for an estimate. For example, a 2.2 Mbit internet connection is needed per Full-HD camera at 2 fps, or 128 Kbit per camera with 800×450 resolution at 0.5 fps, in addition to the load from all other network users. An internet connection with unlimited data is recommended
- You can check how many subscription days remain
- Extend your subscription as your business grows – purchase more storage or connect more cameras.

FAQ
1. What are the system requirements for using Xeoma Cloud?
No need to buy and maintain expensive hardware and software; you only need an Internet connection to connect the cameras.
2. What cameras should I purchase?
Xeoma Cloud supports almost any IP camera. If a camera is not in the list of supported cameras, you can try Xeoma Cloud in trial mode and check if the camera is compatible with the software. If the camera is on the list, it will work.
3. Do I need to install software if I use Xeoma Cloud?
No, you do not need to install Xeoma unless you want to. Xeoma Cloud is our remote Cloud Server, so you can easily connect to it using Xeoma Client (which can be used without installation) or a browser.
4. How do I upgrade my subscription? I currently have 14 cameras and need 4 more.
You can wait until your current subscription ends and then purchase a new one with a different number of cameras. Or contact us, and we will estimate the cost for you to upgrade to the new plan, even if the subscription has not ended yet.
