April 18, 2024:
Please welcome the new version of KnownCalls – 24.04.17 – that is already available for download from our website and Google Play and will soon be added to Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery, RuStore and Xiaomi GetApps! This new version of the safe and free call blocker app KnownCalls features some further optimization of the app’s interface and its internal processes that facilitates better user experience and even better performance.
March 19, 2024:
New version of KnownCalls – 24.03.19 – is already available on our website and waiting to be approved in Google Play and other app stores!
Most importantly, in this new version you will find fixes of crashes that some of KnownCalls users reported in KnownCalls’ most recent versions. That includes crashes at opening the app itself or at opening the ‘List’ tab.
Also, this version of KnownCalls is localized into 61 languages more totaling at 71 languages now!

That means that if your device’s main language is one of those, the app will automatically have its interface in it. Let us know if you spot an error in translations!
And of course, the new version has all the improvements from previous versions of KnownCalls, the free app blocker for Android, including for example blocking of calls from ‘hidden’ (or ‘private’) numbers.
December 8, 2023:
In this new version of free call blocker app KnownCalls we addressed the most popular user reports and improved its work with various types of hidden/unknown/private callers. Further blocking optimizations were applied for situations when our call blocker app couldn’t block calls in time because of massive contacts lists with over 10000 entries. Now it’s no longer a problem – but KnownCalls would work faster if all your contacts are in the international phone format. See ‘?’ next to a blocking type you select for more information.

New version of KnownCalls is out and ready for download! The new version introduces overall performance optimization, improvement of the app’s interface and stability of operation.
August 3, 2023:
Meet and greet the slight update of the KnownCalls app that focuses on fixing the issue with unsolicited calls not getting blocked in some random cases. If you have faced something similar while using previous versions of KnownCalls, please try the new version of the app to get even better protection against unwanted calls!
July 28, 2023:
New version of KnownCalls is already available! It features a couple of minor yet very useful changes:
First of all, the new version will start supporting more country code formats with which numbers are saved to the Contacts list of your phone. This means that if you used to have issues with KnownCalls not letting through calls from people in your Contacts, this new version will probably fix it for you!
Next, there’s a fix of the issue where the Call Log tab would open instead of Blacklist or Whitelist if the device is rotated and changes screen orientation.
And last but not least, we fixed some discrepancies in the work of ‘Active’/’Not Active’ statuses. Now you can use the status bar to check whether the app is working alright, or is inactive – and why.
July 12, 2023:
A new version of KnownCalls is out! In this version the free call blocker app KnownCalls introduces further improvements of the recently added List menu. Now this tab has a new interface element – 3 dots next to the KnownCalls name – that will open a pop up menu with several options. One of the options lets you remove all entries from the KnownCalls’ Call Log, another – Settings – can be used to specify how many entries will be kept in the log. Also, you can select whether to view all call entries, or just the ones that were blocked. Error messages are also somewhat improved to be more understandable. All in all, the new version is definitely worth a try!
April 26, 2023:
Yet another new version of KnownCalls is waiting for you! This time, modifications are focused on the new embedded Call Log of KnownCalls. In it, we changed colors for Outgoing calls (from red to gray), and added a scroll bar for when there are so many calls listed that they do not fit into a single screen. Time to try the new version!

A new version of KnownCalls is out! In it, you will find the high-demand features like Blacklist and Whitelist, a call log with the information whether a call got through or was blocked (and why), app work status to help you always know if the blocking is actually engaged, and a button for quick feedback. A new version of KnownCalls is released. It offers the new additional option to block all incoming calls when the phone is in use – i.e. when its screen is on, for example, when you’re making a video or a story or taking part in an important conference.
